Founded in 2006, the Los Olivos School Foundation is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation.
Our mission is to improve the quality of education at Los Olivos School.
We are able to accomplish this goal through your generous donations and volunteer hours. We are parents, family, friends, and community members who share the belief that when we invest in our children, we are investing in our future.
We meet for regular monthly meetings, please see our calendar for details.
The Spartan Alliance is the new PTA. Any family members or friends of Los Olivos School students, as well as teachers and school staff, represent the Spartan Alliance. This dedicated group of volunteers supports our children through fundraising, grants, and volunteer hours. The Spartan Alliance is now under the Foundation umbrella but continues with its own agenda and budget. Both groups have aligning goals but focus on different parts of how those goals are met. The Spartan Alliance focuses on smaller projects like teacher appreciation, student rewards, assemblies, field trips, classroom and fundraiser volunteering, library and garden supplies, and graduation. The Foundation focuses on bigger projects, like technology, science, art, music, and larger schoolwide benefits.

The Los Olivos School Foundation is an independent community-based organization formed exclusively for charitable or educational purposes as such terms are defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and specifically for the purpose of improving the quality of education at Los Olivos Elementary School. By receiving grants, gifts, and through our own fundraising efforts we provide financial support to Los Olivos School to help augment the school's facilities and programs.
